Tomorrow is the day!!! Come decorate a pumpkin and create a scarecrow for Victor Fire's annual scarecrow competition! We have had some scarecrow items donated but feel free to bring your own! There will also be free developmental screening for children ages birth to 5 years old avaliable during this event.

The memorial service for Coach Mike "Otto" Thill will be held at the Florence School gym on Friday, November 7, at 11:00 am. If you have photos of Coach Otto that you would like to include in the memorial slide show, please send them to Mr. Stiegler right away.

Victor School lost one of our own on Thursday, October 16. Coach Mike "Otto" Thill was a substitute and basketball coach at Victor School for the past year. His tragic passing is difficult to accept for our school community. People grieve in many ways, so their emotions may be visible early or surface at a later time. If your students need help getting through this, please remind them they can request to speak with a school staff member, counselor, or administrator during the school day.
Our thoughts are certainly with those who are impacted by the passing of Coach Otto.

Child-Find dates are published. They will occur from 10/27 to 11/14. These events include free developmental screenings for children 0-5 years old. Please refer to this flyer for more information.

Tom Opre, the filmmaker responsible for "The Real Yellowstone" will be here at the school for the screening next Thursday evening, October 23, and is offering free admittance for all FFA and 4H students. After the film, he will do a Q&A, and is also selling premium meet-and-greet packages with a pre-screening get-together somewhere here in Victor before the film.  for more info: Real Yellowstone

This week, Victor’s 4th graders explored Lee Metcalf and practiced identifying Montana’s living and nonliving treasures through the VNS program.

FAFSA night for all high school seniors and their parents who plan to attend a trade school or college.

To clarify, tomorrow's homecoming event timeline is as follows: 10:15 - Line up for the parade (see previous posts for details). 10:45 - Lineup concludes. 11:00 - Moment of silence. 11:05 - Parade. 12:00 - School-Wide tailgate lunch. 1:00 - Football game. 4:30 - Volleyball game.

Directly after the parade at 12:00 p.m., stop by and check out our senior tailgate BBQ!

📣 Victor Homecoming Parade Update! 📣 This year’s Homecoming Parade will be held on 3rd Ave! After hearing back from participants, we are excited to announce the details: 🗓 Date: Saturday, September 27th 🕚 Moment of Silence: 11:00 AM Float Information: ✅ Check-in & set up between 10:15–10:45 AM (no later than 10:45) ✅ Check-in location: Corner of Meridian & 3rd Ave ⚠️ Reminder: You will NOT be able to access 3rd Street heading east Parade Format: At 11:00 AM, everyone will gather on the football field for a moment of silence. Following the moment of silence, participants may board their floats and hand out candy/swag. Floats will remain stationary while spectators walk the parade route. Community Voting: 🎟 All bystanders will receive a voting ticket to cast their vote for their favorite float/booth. 🏆 A 1st Place Voter’s Choice Award will be given for the top community entry! We can’t wait to see our community come together to celebrate Pirate pride! 🏴‍☠️💛🖤
