4th and 5th grade students enjoyed their first day of Ski PE at Lost Trail on Monday. All students received a lesson from the Snow Sports School and then spent the day on the slopes refining their newly learned skills.

After the final weigh-in, the Griz were ahead by 6lbs. However, with the help of a community members' last minute donation the final score was within 2 lbs. Ms. Gaul and Ms. Larson agreed to call it a tie!! Thanks so much to everyone who provided for our community!!

Our elementary classes recently got to participate in our 1st Annual Literacy Pumpkin Contest. Each class decorated a pumpkin. It could be a main character or their favorite books. All students will be voting on their favorite one, and the winning class pumpkin gets a prize! Thank you to Victor Thrift Store and Off the Grid for donating the pumpkins. Here are the final 3. There is no after-school/robotics program on Tuesday November 1. It will return on Wednesday November 2 from 4:15-5:15.
In social studies, Victor 4th graders have been learning about each Montana tribe and their unique histories and cultures.
Yesterday they got to spend part of the day at Traveler’s Rest learning about the seasons of the Salish and Native American games.
Victor Elementary is participating in a community scarecrow contest along with Victor Fire. Make sure you drive past the firehall and take a look!
